Kalki 2898 AD box office collections day 3:
Early reports indicate that ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ starring Prabhas, is still performing strongly at the box office on its third day, with global collections exceeding Rs 100 crore.
By Saturday evening, the sci-fi epic had earned Rs 47 crore nett in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. This suggests that the film might achieve three consecutive Rs 100 crore days worldwide.
Vyjayanthi Movies shared that Nag Ashwin’s film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ had a remarkable global debut, earning Rs 191.5 crore on Thursday, with Rs 95 crore from domestic theaters. The film also made over Rs 22 crore in the Hindi market alone on its first day. By the end of the second day, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ had reached an impressive Rs 298.5 crore worldwide.
On its third day, the film continues to receive strong support from audiences and is expected to easily surpass Rs 100 crore globally. However, the crucial T20 World Cup final between India and South Africa could impact its box office performance. As of now, the film has collected over Rs 200 crore in all-India nett collections over three days.
The film saw a drop in collections on Friday, which was anticipated due to it being a weekday. Without a public holiday to boost its box office, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ aims to surpass the Rs 500 crore mark globally by Sunday. According to Sacnilk, reaching this milestone would make it the sixth Indian movie to do so, alongside ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘RRR’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Jawan’.
The Telugu epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, received positive reviews upon its release. It is the first major event film for Hindi audiences since April, following the disappointing performance of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
