A shocking incident has gloomed Bollywood flmdom amidst New Year celebrations as the veteran actor Kader Khan has pased away. The actor know for his comic roles and films like ‘Himmatwala’, ‘Aaj Ka Daur’, ‘Judaai’ dies at the age of 81. The news was confirmed by the late actor’s son Sarfaraz. Kader Khan was reportedly suffering from prolonged illness and was admitted to hospital in Canada. According to reports, Kader Khan had breathing issues and was put on BiPAP ventilator.
“My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time due to prolonged illness. He slipped into coma in the afternoon. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks. The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it,” Khan’s son Sarfaraz said.
Born on 22 October 1937, Kader Khan has worked over 300 films. He made his debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Daag’ and also worked as a dialogue writer for over 250 films.
