Sandeep Reddy Vanga made his directorial debut in Tollywood with Arjun Reddy. The next is history, as this film catapulted Vijay Deverakonda to overnight stardom and made Vanaga’s name in go-to directors. Now, Kabir Singh, the remake of Arjun Reddy, has hit the screens today, June 21. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Kaira Advani in the lead roles. Vijay Deverakonda who reprised the original role wished the team as his tweet reads, “#KabirSingh – for me @imvangasandeep and his ability, vision & passion for storytelling is greater than any box-office success he can see. And in him I’ve found a fireplace for my energy and vision. I wish massive blockbuster success to @shahidkapoor and @Advani_Kiara”
Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities from Karan Johar to Neha Dhupia to Nikkhil Advani to Milap Zaveri among others are going gaga over Kabir Singh. Neha, who was left speechless wrote, “@shahidkapoor you have left me speechless !!!! I May need a few hours to sit and think and construct my thoughts around how I feel about #kabirsingh … only because its so bloody good!”
