The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is currently dealing with significant turmoil following its defeat in the recent Assembly and Parliament elections. The situation for BRS worsened with the arrest of Kavitha in a liquor case, adding more challenges for KCR and K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). The difficulties for the party seem to be growing.

Recently, an FIR was filed against K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of BRS, and other leaders for allegedly operating a drone without proper authorization at the Medigadda (Laxmi) Barrage in Ambatpally Village. This incident took place on July 26 between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM and was reported on July 29 by Vali Shaik, an Assistant Executive Engineer. Details of the FIR were revealed today.
According to the complaint, K.T.R. along with former MLAs Gandra Venkataramana Reddy and Balka Suman, flew a drone camera at the barrage without the necessary permissions. Shaik emphasized that the Medigadda Barrage is a crucial project for the Telangana government, and unauthorized drone activities pose a security risk.
The police were alerted after drone footage appeared on social media platforms. Consequently, the Mahadevpur police in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district have registered a case against K.T.R. and his associates under relevant legal provisions.
This incident mirrors a similar episode from 2020 when BRS filed a case against CM Revanth Reddy for operating a drone over K.T. Rama Rao’s farmhouse. Revanth Reddy was accused of using the drone to spy on K.T.R.’s residence showcasing the ongoing rivalry between the two leaders. This case seems to be a classic example of tit-for-tat retaliation in their political feud.
