It has been four months since Sushant Singh Rajput died but there is no trace of justice. The hunger strike held by his staff in Delhi did fetch notice but nothing came out of it. Now the scene has shifted to Patna where people say this could become an election issue. People in Patna thronged streets on Wednesday (October 14) as part of their protest to seek justice and social media users have been urging people to join the ground protest in Patna. Notably, Sushant Singh Rajput hailed from Bihar and his father resides in Patna.
The event began at 10 am with the distribution of SSR T-shirts and masks to poor children and people who joined the protest near Haj Bhawan. At 12 noon, the road protest began. The actor’s friends are scheduled to address the crowd at 2 pm. A candle march will be held till Gandhi Maidan near Kargil Chowk at 4 pm. #ProtestInBihar4SSR has been trending on Twitter since morning. Meanwhile, the Wikipedia page of Sushant Singh Rajput shows the cause of death as “Suicide by hanging” and it has not gone well with his family friend Smita Parikh who has started a petition to change the “Wikipedia status”
