Nani as Arjun has lived the role. In fact, he was so believable that we couldn’t have sees any other performing that role. As a professional cricketer and as a family man, Nani perfectly fit the role. Nani, who in fact is a father in real life sucessfully carried the sae emotion on reel as well. Shraddha Srinath as Sara is impressive, she couldn’t have asked for a better Tollywood debut As a coach, as a friend, Sathyaraj, who runs side by side with Arjun, has done justice to his role. Those who acted as Nani’s friends also did good job.
Analysis:
A man with many hardships in his life yet continues his endeavors and finally taste success if the concept chosen by Gowtam Tinnanuri. We have seen films like Jersey. But cricket as the theme and Gowtam’s narration has made the film stand out. Nani who got into the skin of character as a sportsman and the hard-work he did has paid off. In fact, Nani made the audience root for him.
The film proceeds with flashback episode at times, making it fast and slow. Nani’s scenes with his son is sure to make you teary eyed. Having said this, a certain section of audience may not be appeal due to the on and off flashback scenes that makes film slow paced at times.
