Manoj Pahwa has been roped in to play Janhvi’s on-screen father. The father-daughter scenes were very crucial in elevating the film directed by Mathukutty Xavier in Malayalam. Reportedly, the veteran actor heard the script and took very little time to say yes.
Meanwhile Manoj Pahwa started his career with television, acting in comedy series Just Mohabbat (1996-2000) and Office Office (2001). He debuted in the movie Tere Mere Sapne (1996) and has acted in 50+ films and TV series as a character actor. Also Janhvi has signed the Hindi remake of Nayanthara’s 2018 hit, Kolamavu Kokila directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is yet to be announced. Janhvi Kapoor, after making her debut in Bollywood with Dhadak in 2018, is currently on a signing spree.
The actress who was recently seen in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, has some interesting projects lined up. Currently, she is awaiting the release of Roohi Afzana and will start shooting for Dostana 2 soon and has Takht on the cards too. While people are still appreciating her work as IAF Pilot Gunjan Saxena in the Dharma Productions’ film, rumour has it that Janhvi had already been signed as the lead for Helen, which released in 2019. It was a survival thriller starring Anna Ben in the titular role. The film in Hindi will be produced by Zee Studios and Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor.
