Ranveer Singh’s cop flick Simmba is the most awaited film of the year. It has huge expectations as this is the remake of blockbuster Telugu hit Temper, which starred NTR Jr, and secondly director Rohit Shetty, Ranveer have teamed up for the first time.
While, many names did rounds for the lead actress’ name but it was Janhvi Kapoor, who was Rohit’s first choice from the start. But wondering what made Rohit drop Janhvi and pick up Sara Ali Khan. Here we bring to you important tidbits which will leave you in shock.
If reports are to be believed, Rohit had dropped Janhvi for a trivial reason as it is learnt that she apparently gave hint that she will be finalised for the role. This didn’t go down well with the makers, who then chose Sara.
The film all set to hit screens on December 28 will go on floor from mid- May and will be wrapped up by October.
