The ongoing tensions between the Mega family and Allu Arjun have intensified especially after Janasena’s Tadepalligudem MLA, Bolisetti Srinivas, openly criticized the actor. The rift began when Allu Arjun supported his friend and YCP MLA candidate, Silpa Ravi Kishore, in the AP general elections leading to disappointment among Mega fans who expected his support for Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena party.
The situation escalated when Pawan Kalyan remarked during an event, indirectly hinting at Allu Arjun’s recent film roles, contrasting them with the more traditional hero roles of the past. This comment was perceived as a subtle dig at Allu Arjun, further fueling the tensions.
In response, Allu Arjun declared during a film event that he would always stand by those he cares about, a statement that many saw as a rebuttal to the ongoing criticism. However, this only provoked Bolisetti Srinivas to escalate the situation further. In a recent interview, he questioned the existence of Allu Arjun’s fan base claiming that only Mega fans exist and accusing Allu Arjun of imagining his popularity.
“He says he will come only if he wishes. If you don’t like it, don’t come. Who is asking you? Did we ask you to come? We won all 21 seats we contested. Did you help your father win when he contested for the MP seat?” Bolisetti questioned Allu Arjun.
Bolisetti’s harsh remarks have gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion. Many believe that such open criticism from an MLA suggests deeper internal conflicts within the Mega family, possibly indicating higher-level approval for such statements.
