Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to enthrall his devoted fans and audiences with his upcoming movie “Jailer,” directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and featuring Tamannaah Bhatia as the lead actress. The film is scheduled to make a massive global debut on August 10, 2023.
Meanwhile, the Malayalam film “Jailer,” helmed by director Sakkir Madathil, has also announced its release on the same date, but it will be limited to Kerala only. Sakkir had previously sought a resolution from the Madras High Court regarding the title tussle, but unfortunately, it did not yield any positive results.
Recently, the distressed director revealed that he went to great lengths to finance his film, mortgaging his house and even his daughter’s jewelry. Additionally, he sold his car and took loans from various sources to support the production, making it difficult for him to handle the mounting interests.
He expressed, “My future lies in ‘Jailer,’ and I even thought of committing suicide. Rajinikanth is a great actor and human being who will understand my plight.”
