The sequel to the 2023 blockbuster ‘Jailer’ is officially in the works, with director Nelson Dilipkumar already crafting the script. Jailer, a massive hit across the country, particularly in South India, secured its place as the sixth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. Now, speculations are rife that sequel to this Rajinikanth blockbuster is all set to start soon.
The main cast, including Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, and Shiva Rajkumar, are set to reunite. Meanwhile, whether film is going to be prequel or sequel, remains undisclosed.
Rajinikanth, currently engaged in a project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj titled ‘Thalaivar 171,’ is said to join ‘Jailer’ sequel after its shooting.
