It was reported that Jagapathi Babu was hurt as neither Mahesh Babu nor Dil Raju spoke with him about the development about him walking out of the project.
But our inside sources reveal the actual reason behind Jagapathi Babu leaving Sarileru Neekevvaru. Reportedly, Jagapathi Babu sacrificed his role for Prakash Raj who desperately wanted to be part of this project. Prakash Raj has been away from the silver screen with his political outing which didn’t take off. Now the actor wants to be part of it hence requested Dil Raju and also is learnt to have spoken with Mahesh. Paying over the heeds, Dil Raju and Mahehshave requested Jagapathi to quit the project for Prakash Raj. Hence, the rumours that Jagapathi Babu left Sarileru Neekevvaru over a tiff or others is put to rest now.
Helmed by Anil Ravipudi, the film has Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan and Vijayashanthi along with Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh and producer Bandla Ganesh. Bankrolled jointly by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu under the banner AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations, GMB Entertainment, the music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Sarileru Neekevvaru is slated for release for Sankranthi 2020 release.
