Many of his party members have shifted to other parties, and his illegal assets case has resurfaced in court. In the latest development, Jagan is dealing with a passport issue.

Jagan had planned a trip to London with his wife to celebrate their daughter’s birthday on September 3, intending to stay there until September 25. However, after losing his role as Chief Minister, Jagan’s diplomatic passport was canceled. He applied for a general passport, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court in Hyderabad granted him a passport with a five-year validity.

At the same time, the Vijayawada court issued a conflicting order, providing Jagan a passport with only a one-year validity. Unhappy with this decision, Jagan filed a lunch-motion petition in the High Court, requesting a passport with a five-year validity instead.

The High Court has not yet resolved the issue and postponed the hearing to the upcoming Monday. As a result, Jagan had no option but to delay his overseas trip.

This situation adds to the ongoing difficulties faced by Jagan since his political downfall leaving him to navigate both legal and political battles as his plans remain uncertain.
