YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the president of the YSR Congress party has drawn significant criticism for his frequent visits to Bengaluru following the recent assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. Despite facing backlash from both his opponents and the public, Jagan seems undeterred as he continues his back-and-forth trips between Bengaluru and Vijayawada.

According to reports, after the election results, Jagan decided to make his Bengaluru palace a permanent residence, spending limited time in Andhra Pradesh. He travels to Vijayawada occasionally to address political matters or to criticize the ruling government. His opponents, particularly those supporting the NDA, have started mocking him, branding him a “part-time politician.” They even suggest that he should consider getting a weekly travel pass due to his constant trips.

In the past two months alone, Jagan has visited Bengaluru six times. Recently, after a brief stay in Andhra, where he participated in Independence Day celebrations and held meetings regarding the upcoming MLC elections, he returned to Bengaluru just before the weekend.

Before losing the elections, Jagan mainly resided in his Tadepalli palace and only visited Bengaluru rarely. However, this routine shifted significantly post-election, leading to speculations and criticisms about his priorities and leadership focus.
