Jack box office collection day 2
Siddu Jonnalagadda’s new film Jack released on April 10, 2025 but has failed to live up to the buzz. Despite high expectations and a strong release, the film has seen poor collections especially on Day 2.
Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, the film also stars Vaishnavi Chaitanya. It features well-known actors like Prakash Raj, Naresh, and Brahmaji. With music by Achu Rajamani, Sam CS, and Suresh Bobbili, the movie had a solid technical team. The total budget, including promotions was around Rs. 40 crores.
Jack did decent business before release, earning Rs. 17 crores through satellite, OTT, and music rights. However, to reach break-even, it needed Rs. 18 crores share or Rs. 36 crores gross at the box office. Unfortunately, the film struggled right from its first day.
Released in over 2200 screens, Jack saw Rs. 1.3 crore from advance bookings. But Day 1 net collections in India were only Rs. 2.5 crores, much lower than Siddu’s previous films like DJ Tillu and Tillu Square. Day 2 numbers fell further, collecting just Rs. 83 lakhs with only 14.57% occupancy across major cities.
Though the team hoped holidays and weekends would help, the sharp fall has left fans disappointed. Now, all eyes are on the weekend to see if the film can recover. Trade analysts believe Saturday and Sunday are crucial for the movie’s future.
