The mystery over the murder of ISRO scientist S. Suresh Kumar has been cracked as police officials held lab technician J. Srinivas over the murder.
According to details, Srinivas murdered the scientist over the non-payment of dues over the gay sex. Srinivas used to visit the house of the scientist on a regular basis for collecting blood samples. Reportedly, Suresh sought sexual favours from Srinivas and the latter agreed to it as he was enticed good money. However, Srinivas got frustrated as the scientist was not paying him the money. And one fine day in a spur of the moment, Srinivas stabbed him to death.
The crime came to light when the scientist’s wife Indira Suresh Kumar, who works at a bank in Chennai, was not able to connect with him over phone. She asked her relatives in Hyderabad to go to the flat but they found it locked from outside.
