Why do actors get emotional at public events? To gain sympathy from the public? Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej is pinning his hopes on his upcoming movie ‘Virupaksha’. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film is slated to release in theatres on April 21.
Speaking during the pre-release event in Eluru on Sunday evening, the actor recalled the tragic bike accident that he met with in 2021. He said that the only mistake he committed was riding the bike. “I gave anxious moments to you all that day. I ask for forgiveness. I gained consciousness after a week, and when I opened my eyes I first saw my mother and younger brother. I wanted to say sorry to my mother but I couldn’t speak a single word.”
Time and again, he has been speaking out about the accident. He has been sharing his feelings about the incident in many interviews. Yet again, he raised it during the promotions of his upcoming movie. He is seen narrating the same old tale with moist eyes. And his fans in the crowd became emotional too, listening to his story.
