Though she was seen in a few dubbed flicks in the meantime, Rakul Preet’s lat Telugu film before Manmadhudu 2 was 2017 release Spyder. After the release of SPyder, Rakul focussed more on her Bollywood and Tamil projects and didn’t even sign a single Telugu film.

Finally, she made her comeback recently with Manmadhudu 2. Rakul hoped that it would be a striking comeback for her and promoted that her role in the film will be of a modern aged girl who loves to be independent and carefree. Finally, the movie has hit the screens a few days back and the audiences couldn’t digest the adult comedy and double meaning dialogues in the movie.

Even Rakul’s character received a heavy backlash and netizens trolled her by saying that smoking on screen and kissing a same-gender person wouldn’t make a character an independent one. On the whole, Manmadhudu 2 almost finished the career of Rakul in Tollywood.

Currently, she is acting in Nithiin-Chandrashekhar Yeleti’s film but even though if that film becomes a hit, that wouldn’t boost up her career down here. Meanwhile, she is grabbing some interesting offers in both Bollywood and Kollywood.
