Is Prabhas’ The Raja Saab release delayed?
Prabhas’ fans have been eagerly waiting for an update on his upcoming film The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The film has been under production for nearly three years, raising curiosity about its release. Recently, Maruthi visited Tirupati and Srikalahasti temples, and during this trip, a fan asked him to share an official release update.
Responding to the fan, Maruthi clarified that the team is still working on the post-production. He mentioned that once the computer graphics (CG) are finalized and verified, the production house, People Media Factory, will announce the release date. He emphasized that such decisions involve multiple people and departments, not just a single person.
Maruthi also updated that only a few portions of the film are left to shoot, including some dialogues and songs. He assured fans that everyone is putting in great effort to meet expectations and requested them to stay patient.
Originally, The Raja Saab was planned for release on April 10, 2025. However, the delay in post-production has pushed the release to a later date. Fans expressed mixed reactions online. Some urged the makers to release a teaser or a song, while others requested the film not fall into typical horror-comedy traps and hoped for fresh content.
The movie stars Prabhas in a dual role. Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar play key roles, while Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the antagonist. The film promises a mix of romance, horror and comedy.
