Bubbly actress Charmme Kaur celebrates her birthday today, May 17. The actress who has kept away from the silver screen has now donned the hat of the producer. In collaboration with Puri Connects, Charmee has taken up the production work and is busy with iSmart Shankar starring Ram Pothineni and Nabha Natesh and Niddhi Agerwal.
Ask her about getting setting down, Charmee affirms that marriage is not on her mind, adding with all these years having been lived independently she doesn’t see herself taking care of husband and kids. “I have no plans of getting married and having kids. I don’t think I fit into that category; I cannot prioritise someone else in my life,” she says, adding, “I have been working since the age of 13 and have celebrated most of my birthdays on the sets. I am an independent woman and a workaholic. I can’t wake up in the morning and take care of the family, husband or kids,” states Charmee.
Friendship with Trisha
Explaining about her bond with Trisha, she adds that the duo became close friends after acting in 2006 film – Pournami. “Trisha and I became friends after we acted together in Pournami (2006). Since then, we talk and meet regularly. We have even gone on a couple of holidays together.”
