Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja teamed up with director Ramesh Varma for a new film called Khiladi. The shooting of this film is currently underway in Hyderabad. The first look poster of this movie was released recently and it features an uncanny resemblance with the 2016 Tamil film Theri. Ravi Teja was in plans of remaking Theri about a year ago. Kandireega fame Santosh Sreenivas was supposed to direct this project. 
Mass MaharajaHowever, it didn’t take off due to some unknown reasons. Now, it is being rumoured that Ramesh Varma has taken up the directorial responsibilities of that project. The makers are yet to respond to these rumours. Khiladi features Ravi Teja in a dual role. Young heroines Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chaudhary are playing the female leads in this movie. Produced by Koneru Satyanarayana, Khiladi is aiming for a summer release this year.
