Is Jagan planning to move to a safe place?
YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is facing significant challenges after his recent electoral defeat. Reports indicate that Jagan is contemplating moving abroad due to the mounting pressure and frustration he faces in Andhra Pradesh (AP).
Recently, Jagan traveled to Bangalore to renew his passport which is currently held by the court. As a former Chief Minister, he previously held a diplomatic passport, but this is no longer valid. His renewed passport now awaits court permission for any foreign travel. This bureaucratic process is critical as Jagan considers his next steps.
Rumors within the YSRCP suggest that Jagan is preparing for a possible relocation to London. This move is partly influenced by safety concerns, as he reportedly does not feel secure in Bangalore. London is also a favorable option since Jagan’s daughters are already residing there, and arrangements have been made for their accommodation and other needs.
The speculation about Jagan’s plans includes filing petitions for an extended leave from court duties, citing health and treatment as primary reasons. Sources from Tadepalli Palace, Jagan’s residence indicate that he is likely to leave for London or another secure location within the next month.
