Is Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth reuniting after divorce?
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, after ending their 18-year-long marriage in 2022, seem to be hinting at a possible reconciliation, according to recent reports. The couple’s separation shocked fans, with both individuals moving forward independently. However, there are now signs suggesting they may reunite.
The speculations began when Aishwaryaa shared a picture of herself on Instagram during the festival of Onam. She posted an image of herself enjoying a traditional meal served on a banana leaf. What caught the attention of many was the fact that Dhanush liked her post. Although it could be coincidental, fans and media have been quick to speculate that this interaction may indicate a potential reconciliation.
Earlier, in March 2024, Aishwaryaa made her first public comment about Dhanush since their divorce. During a press interaction, she discussed the career of music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who is her cousin, and praised Dhanush for recognizing his musical talent. She acknowledged that Dhanush played a crucial role in helping Anirudh break into the film industry by encouraging him to compose music for the film 3, a significant step in his career.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa share two sons, Yatra and Linga. After their separation, Aishwaryaa gained primary custody of the children, though both parents have worked out a balanced schedule for the boys to spend time with each of them. The children primarily live with their grandfather, South Indian superstar Rajinikanth.
