Last few weeks, things were bad as Lata Mangeshkar passed away leaving many disappointed. If this was not enough, today, one more musician Bappi Lahari has passed away in Mumbai.
Bappi’s original name is Alokesh Lahari and he was born on November 27th in 1952 in Bengal. Bappi began his career in Bollywood in 1972 and also ventured into the Telugu film industry with Superstar Krishna’s ‘Simhasanam’ and the film was a blockbuster. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Gangleader’ was one of the biggest musical hits of Bappi in Tollywood.
With his sudden loss, the industry is in shock. Celebs like Chiranjeevi and a few others have tweeted their solidarity with the star’s family.
