Plot
Arun(Sushanth) is a handsome architect who has a crush on his colleague Meenu(Meenakshi Chowdary). He decides to propose to her and goes to her apartment. But to his shock, he gets involved in a murder case. The situation arises in such a way that he cannot come out of the colony itself. How will he prove his innocence is the basic crux of the film.
Performances
Sushanth has done well as Arun. With each film, he has improved and the same is the case here. He used to look lost in the emotional scenes but here he has command of his craft. Heroine Meenakshi looks cute and also emotes well. Abhinav Gomatam has a good role and he is an actor who should be utilized more. Vennela Kishore always clicks in all his films and here also he shines along with a scene in Sunil.
Analysis
The film is a romantic thriller and has a good idea and backdrop. But the director did not understand what to do with the first half of the film. All that you see on screen looks forced. The main block comes only in the interval and until this time, you get bored in a big way.
The second half has multiple characters entering the scene and the comedy that is thrown in works well. The confusion comedy, thrills showcased and the twist are well planned and create an impact.
The film looks apt from the interval part and has a good second half. If you sit through the first half and ignore the routineness, this film will surely engage you in the second half.
Bottom Line – Clicks only in second half
