‘I will never forget our roots’: Pawan Kalyan

The much-awaited Game Changer pre-release event took place in a grand manner, and the Chief Guest for the occasion was none other than the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan. The event was a celebration for the upcoming film directed by Shankar starring Ram Charan, which is set to release on January 10th for Sankranti.

During his speech, Pawan Kalyan expressed deep respect and gratitude towards the Telugu film industry. His words have quickly gone viral, sparking conversations across various social media platforms. Here are the highlights from Pawan Kalyan’s speech at the Game Changer event:

“We never use words like ‘Mega fans’ because fans of Jr. NTR, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, and Mahesh Babu are also here. Even in my family, there are those who love Nani. My sister is a huge fan of Nani.”

“We should never forget the contributions of N.T. Rama Rao, who brought fame to Telugu people. Today, whether it’s me, Ram Charan, or any other hero, it all goes back to the roots of Megastar Chiranjeevi. You may call us OG or Game Changer, but it’s because of Chiranjeevi, who came from a small village Mogalthur, that we are here today. He is the true pioneer and we owe everything to him.”

“I will never forget our roots. The Telugu film industry exists today because of the hard work of legends like N.T. Rama Rao, Nageswara Rao, Krishna and Sobhan Babu. I thank them not only as an actor but also as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh. We are able to celebrate this event today in Rajahmundry because of the support of CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu. I also thank Home Minister Anitha, the DGP, SP and Collector for their efforts.”

“I never knew if I would even become an actor. At a time when I had no money, I bought tickets to watch Shankar’s films in black markets. He always made films with strong social messages. When I had no money, Dil Raju helped with the production of Vakeel Saab, and today, my political journey is fueled by the success of that film. I owe him a heartfelt thanks,”said Pawan Kalyan
