‘I am not satisfied with the movie.…’: Shankar on Game Changer
Director Shankar recently shared his dissatisfaction with the output of his movie “Game Changer.” This project which starred Ram Charan and was produced on a massive budget of ₹500 crores took three years to complete. Despite high expectations, Shankar revealed that the final product did not meet his original vision.
In a recent interview, Shankar stated, “I am not satisfied with the output of the movie Game Changer. It should have been done better. According to my idea, the movie should have been 5 hours long. Due to time constraints, I had to trim some scenes. As a result, the story did not turn out the way I had planned.”
Shankar praised the performances of Ram Charan and SJ Surya, describing them as excellent. However, fans and critics have mixed reactions to his comments. Many questioned the timing of his statement, as the movie has already been released.
Mega fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment. Many feel the story failed to live up to Shankar’s previous successes, and they blame him for the film’s shortcomings. Netizens also highlighted the heavy financial loss for the producers, questioning why such issues were not addressed during production.
The movie Game Changer, which was released with high expectations, earned ₹186 crores on its first day. However, it received mixed reviews, and some fans believe that better scripting and execution could have led to a more successful outcome.
