Director Sreenu Vaitla is determined to score a hit with his next movie. After Dookudu, Sreenu Vaitla did not score a proper success and there is a huge criticism against the director for coming up with films with routine plots. The director is uniting with Manchu Vishnu for the sequel of the successful movie Dhee. Titled DD Double Dose, the movie’s shoot will begin soon. Sreenu Vaitla is facing a huge pressure from critics as Kona Venkat is not working for the second part. Kona Venkat provided the story and dialogues for Dhee and his contribution for the film’s success is very high.
DD Double Dose, After the release of Baadshah, Kona Venkat and Sreenu Vaitla parted ways due to several creative differences between them. They worked again for Bruce Lee: The Fighter but it failed to entertain the audiences. The writer-director duo then decided not to work again.For the current project DD Double Dose, Gopi Mohan is working as the main writer. Gopi Mohan has provided the additional story for Dhee and he is also a successful writer. But, Kona Venkat’s absence will be a big concern for the film unit.If Sreenu Vaitla scores a hit with the sequel of Dhee without Kona Venkat, he can silence the critics and move ahead in career with more confidence.
