How 2024 changed THIS Star hero from star to zero
2024 has been a tough year for Mega Prince Varun Tej. He had two film releases this year, both promoted as pan-India films. The first was Operation Valentine. Despite having an aviation backdrop, the film failed in both Hindi and Telugu. It couldn’t find any audience in theaters. After its release, no one discussed or appreciated the film, even on OTT platforms.
Varun Tej’s second release Matka also failed badly. The film had very little buzz before its release. After the release, there was hardly any talk about it. It disappeared quickly from theaters and became a complete disaster.

With two back-to-back flops, Varun Tej had a disappointing 2024. He was once known for experimenting with different subjects. Now, it seems he is uncertain about what works for him. He is unclear about the kinds of films that suit him and what the audience expects from him.
The year 2024 has been as disappointing as 2023 for Varun Tej. It is hoped that he takes some time to reflect on his choices. He needs to understand where he went wrong. Going forward, Varun Tej should choose projects that align with his strengths.
