Varun Tej takes on the role of an Air Force pilot in the upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Operation Valentine. The movie’s central theme is honouring the bravery and indomitable spirit of Indian Air Force heroes, portraying their challenges and valour during one of India’s most significant aerial attacks, inspired by true events.
The non-theatrical rights for the film, encompassing satellite, digital streaming, and audio, were sold for an impressive sum exceeding Rs 50 crore, setting a record for Varun Tej. Additionally, the film is attracting substantial offers for its theatrical rights in both Telugu and Hindi.
This film marks Varun Tej’s debut in Hindi cinema while introducing Manushi Chhillar to the Telugu film industry in her role as a radar officer. The movie is scheduled for release in both languages on December 8, 2023.
Operation Valentine is directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures.
