Natural Star Nani says his upcoming film ‘Hi Nanna’ is a tide of emotions. Starring Nani and Mrunal Thakur in the lead, the film is directed by Shouryuv and bankrolled by Vyra Entertainments.
The teaser was unveiled in Hindi amidst much fanfare here in Hyderabad on Sunday. Starts off as a father-daughter story with a beautiful journey between Nani and Baby Kiara Khanna, the story has a love journey of Nani and Mrunal Thakur.
Is she his daughter? Did Nani meet Mrunal before? Why did Mrunal propose to Nani just before her wedding with someone else? You need to watch the movie to know the answers to all these questions.
For a debutant like Shouryuv, it seems that he has handled the complexities of emotions between the principal characters in the film very well. Shouryuv showed maturity in the very first movie. He rightly balanced both emotions. While the father-daughter bonding will connect to every father, the love saga of Nani and Mrunal is blissful.
The cinematography of Sanu John Varughese ISC looks full of life, while Hesham Abdul Wahab gave life to the visuals with his music. Avinash Kolla’s production design deserves a special mention. Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments, the production values are first class.
On the whole, the teaser looks promising and increases prospects for the next set of promotions. Praveen Anthony is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Satish EVV is the executive producer. Hi Nanna is scheduled for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages on December 7.
