Simbu‘s brother Kuralarasan converted to Islam is no news. But rumours are thick and fast decoding the reason behind Kuralarasan converting to Islam. It is learnt that Kuralarasan converted to Ismal for his ladylove, who comes from the Muslim community. Going by the reports, Kuralarasan is likely to marry his ladylove on April 26. However, an official announcement is to be announced by his father, a well-known face in Kollywood – T. Rajendar.

Earlier, talking to media after the conversion of his son to Islam, Rajendar said, “Tolerance of all religions is my policy. My elder son STR is an ardent Siva devotee. My daughter Ilakkiya is a Christian and now my younger son has preferred to follow Islam religion. I respect his decision”. Interestingly, Rajendar himself has converted to Islam, and other Kollywood known celebs who converted to Islam are AR Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
