Here’s what Sai Dharam Tej said about Allu Arjun
Sai Dharam Tej, now known as Sai Durgha Tej, has always maintained a strong connection with his famous cousins, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. Recently, during an event in Hyderabad, he shared insights into his relationship with them and addressed whether he ever felt envious of their success.
Speaking at the ABPLive Summit, Sai revealed that neither he nor his cousins initially planned to become actors. Despite their family’s deep roots in the film industry, none of them grew up aiming to enter the world of movies. Sai himself thought he would have a regular 9-5 job, but eventually realized he was meant for something different. He stated that this natural progression into acting left no room for envy among the cousins.
“We’re like flowers of the same plant,” he said. “We don’t compete with each other; we bloom together.” This metaphor highlights the supportive bond the trio shares, where they encourage each other’s success rather than feel competitive.
Interestingly, Sai shared that despite belonging to a family with several actors, films rarely dominate their conversations when they meet. Instead, they talk about various other interests, including food, fashion, and social causes. This dynamic helps them maintain a grounded relationship, away from the limelight of the film industry.
Sai Durgha Tej also spoke warmly about his uncle, Pawan Kalyan. He described working with the Power Star in the movie Bro as a dream come true. Sai views the opportunity to act alongside his uncle as a way of paying his “Gurudakshina,” acknowledging the mentorship and guidance Pawan Kalyan provided throughout his career.
On the professional front, Sai Durgha Tej was last seen in the 2023 film Bro. His next project, tentatively titled SDT18, is being directed by Rohith KP and is expected to create excitement among his fans.
