In an interview to Newsx, a detective Uppal Chowdary, hired by Sushant Singh Rajput in 2014 revealed that the Mumbai police is under pressure to cover up the case and close it as suicide. He says according to his analysis, Rhea in all probability had him murdered by the people living in his house, going by the bruises he had on his body. Uppal Chowdary was given an assignment to do some surveillance in 2014 and he had executed the work.
