Following backlash, his scenes were edited out, and now the movie has secured a new release date.
Harom Hara will be available for streaming on Aha starting at 5 PM on July 15. The film follows the story of Subramanyam played by Sudheer Babu, a lab assistant who becomes a skilled gunsmith in the 1980s. It explores his challenges in a violent town.

Lead actor Sudheer Babu expressed his condemnation of Praneeth Hanumanthu’s statements on social media platform X, describing them as “disgusting.” He stated, “For good or bad, I’m not a social media guy nor do I keep up with things. I feel so disgusted by the fact we had #PraneethHanumanthu cast in #HaromHara. Sincere apologies from me and my entire team. We didn’t know what a pathetic creature this man was. It wasn’t in my knowledge.”
Directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka, Harom Hara features Sudheer Babu, Malvika Sharma, Sunil, and Jayaprakash in key roles. The film has received mixed reviews since its premiere on June 14, 2024.
