Hansika Motwani requests FIR quashing in Bombay HC

Actress Hansika Motwani has gone to the Bombay High Court asking to cancel an FIR filed against her by her sister-in-law Muskan Nancy James. Nancy is married to Hansika’s brother, Prashant Motwani. She had earlier filed a police complaint at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai, accusing Hansika and her mother-in-law Jyoti of troubling her.

Nancy’s complaint includes serious charges such as domestic violence, harassment, and interference in her married life. She mentioned that Hansika and her family demanded costly gifts and were also involved in property-related issues.

Nancy also said that because of the stress caused by this behavior, she developed a health issue called Bell’s Palsy, which caused temporary facial paralysis. In 2022, she shared a video about her medical condition and how she was undergoing treatment.

Nancy and Prashant got married in March 2021 in a grand wedding in Udaipur. However, problems began within a year, and they have been living apart for two years now. Nancy is also a television actress known for her roles in shows like Mata Ki Chowki, Adaalat, and Crime Patrol.

Meanwhile, Hansika is a well-known actress in the South Indian film industry and was also famous as a child artist in Bollywood. She married businessman Sohael Kathuria in December 2022.

The court has not yet made a decision and has postponed the case hearing to July 3.
