Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming sports drama Guru has wrapped up its shoot the other day in Chennai. The shoot of this film began in September second week. Completing entire film’s shoot within two months is indeed a record for a star hero’s film. The film was extensively shot in Vishakapatnam and Chennai.
Guru is an official remake of Madhavan’s Tamil-Hindi bi-lingual film, Saala Khadoos. Sudha Kongara, who directed the original, also helmed this project. Ritika Singh also reprised her role of an aspiring boxer from the original. The teaser of the film will be unveiled on December 13, on the occasion of Venky’s birthday. The film will hit the screens on January 26.
