Plot
Dev(Satyadev) is a simple man who falls in love with Ammu(Kavya Shetty). But she ditches him at the last moment calling him poor. Upset with this, Dev gets married to Nidhi(Tamannah). But this relationship too, does not last long as Nidhi has a heartbreaking issue. What is that and how did Dev handle this situation? That forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Satyadev is the only solace of the film as his performance is very good and makes some sense. Satya played the role of a student, lover, and husband to the best of his capabilities. The other lead, Tamannah was also neat in her important role. But she looks pale as she was not showcased well. Megha Akash was also neat in her small role. Priyadarshi was decent in his comic role.

Gurtunda Seetakalam is the official remake of the Kannada hit Love Mocktail but it is nowhere close to the original. The director needs to be blamed for remaking the film in such a crappy manner. There is no seriousness in the film as the romance and emotions do not hit you one bit. The novelty factor is totally missing in the film.
Upon this, the songs by Kaala Bhairava are bad. There is not one song that is a hit and impressed us. The BGM was dull and so was the lethargic camerawork. The length of the film is also long and the pace is a dead rubber. The first half makes some sense but the second half is not serious at all. The heroine suffers from a serious disease and the turmoil that she undergoes is not highlighted at all.
Gurtunda Seetakalam kind of films was made ages ago. Director Nagasekhar has wasted talents like Tamannah and Satyadev and made a boring film. There is no one episode that is heart touching. The aspects of love, comedy, breakup, and issues in marriage, nothing is highlighted, and is painful for the audience to sit through the entire film.
