They approached a Malayalam composer known for creating beautiful songs and having two successful songs in Telugu. He was given a chance to compose two songs for Guntur Kaaram. However, after listening to the samples, the team felt that those songs didn’t have the wide appeal they were looking for, so they dropped the idea.
After that, they brought in another composer known for creating fantastic music for a recent pan-Indian movie. This composer was asked to create a few songs, but reportedly, Mahesh didn’t approve of them either. Eventually, they had no choice but to ask Thaman to compose all the songs again.
It seems like the team working on Guntur Karam is having a hard time finding the perfect tunes, especially for the music. The negative reactions to the recent songs are making them concerned in that aspect.
