Shashi Preetam, music composer of Gulabi film (1995), suffered heart attack and had to undergo angioplasty on Thursday. The composer was rushed to a private hospital in Banjara Hills after chest pain complaint, who was then admitted to ICU. The doctors have now stated that upon the surgery of angioplasty his condition is in stable now. According to reports, Shashi was suffering from Myocardial Infarction (MI).
Shashi made his debut in Krishna Vamsi’s film Gulabi starring JD Chakravarthy and Maheswari. He then went on to compose for Samudram (1999). His last work was a Hindi film Mukhbiir which got released in 2008.
