The post ‘God Sex and Truth’ seems to yield fruits to the controversial king, director Ram Gopal Varma. The Hyderabad Central Crime Station police has issued notices to him seeking his appearance and explanation in connection with a case booked against him.
Social activist Devi and other women had approached the Cybercrime police at the Central Crime Station on January 25 and said the film, which features American adult star Mia Malkova, has “very obscene content which can have a negative impact on the society”.
The Cybercrime police then booked a case under the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code and started a probe, as part of which the notice was issued.
However, RGV inform the police that the date they suggested was inconvenient for him, because he is busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie with Nagarjuna in Mumbai. So police are now preparing a new notice with a fresh date.
Though GST was shot in the US with Mia Malkova, which gained much hype on the social media before the release on the digital platform, access to the video has been restricted in India.
