Advi Sesh’s Goodachari Movie Review
Tollywood more often than not has witnessed typical genres knitted around love and it’s a rarity to get thrillers like PSV Garuda Vega, Kshanam. With the latest spy thriller Goodachari release, the expectations are soaring high as Advi Sesh’s last thriller written by him was a smashing hit. So let’s check out how the film has fared?
The story is of Advi Sesh (Gopi) who dreams of becoming a RAW agent like his father (Ravi Prakash) who gets killed by the terrorist group. Sesh is brought up by his uncle Satya (Prakash Raj), who despite bringing up Gopi away from the field which killed his father fails to realise that Gopi also harbours the same dream. Sesh with his earnest devotion to hard work gets selected by the RAW for a mission Trinetra. As everything seems smooth for Gopi after getting into the dream career he aspired and having his girlfriend Sameera (Sobhita Dhulipala), he gets a jolt of his life.
Sesh meets a dreaded terrorist who is the surprise baddie in the film and filmmakers have upped the game by keeping the name under the wraps. How Sesh deals with the shock and does he able to avenge the death of his father by killing the murders forms the crux of the plot.
Goodachari has taken the thriller genre a top-notch higher. Advi Sesh in one of the interview has said that he wished the budget could have been more, but after what the team has delivered in the budget its’s unbelievable on your eyes. The makers have pulled off a clean an taut plot with all the elements in its place. For all those who cribbed of not having thriller akin to Hollywood, here we have Goodachari which is another path-breaking film in terms of content and production value.
The music by Sricharan Pakala is clean helps in elevating the film. The background score is an additional advantage. Editing by Garry Bh is crisp which makes it a smooth transition and falls easy on the eyes. Cinematographer Shaneil Deo has given us breathtaking visuals and made the film a thumping ride. Debutant Sobhita Dhulipala couldn’t ask for a better film for a strong debut. Other characters including Sesh gave stupendous performances.
