Keerthy Suresh has been giving back to back flops as the female lead. She is now back with one more lady-oriented film called Good Luck Sakhi. Read our review to know if the film had any juice in it or not.
Story
The film is set in a small village that considers Sakhi(Keerthy Suresh) as the unluckiest girl in the whole world. At the same time, an ex-colonel(Jagapathi Babu) comes to the village and starts hunting for the best shooters. He crosses paths with Sakhi and finds out her raw talent. The rest of the story is as to how Sakhi gets trained under the colonel and proves to the world that she is not the unluckiest.
Performances
Keerthy Suresh is an award-winning actress and tried hard to save the film. But her role is so routine that she does not get any chance to showcase her talent. She looks bland just did what her director said. Jagapathi Babu is routine and should stop signing these boring roles. Aadi Pinishetty has nothing much to do apart from playing the second fiddle to Keerthy Suresh. Rahul Ramakrishna was the best of the lot.
Analysis
Good Luck Sakhi was in the making for a long time now. The film is backed by Dil Raju and it is hard to understand how he invested in this film and released it as it has no sheen at all.
There are so many sports dramas being made in India and everything has the same story. But for the film to click, the emotions need to click and here in this film, everything flops and looks boring. The dialogues do not motivate and the conflict point is let go in the first part itself.
DSP provides some hope as his music and BGM are good and it elevates some scenes. But as the film is filled with predictable scenes, things get so irritating for the audience. The production values are also bad in this film.
There is nothing new that is showcased and even Keerthy Suresh with all her might ends up being a spectator of this outdated sports drama which is underwhelming.
Bottom Line – Horrible Sakhi
