
Good Bad Ugly early review and rating
Ajith Kumar is all set to entertain his fans with his upcoming Tamil action-comedy film Good Bad Ugly. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, this film stars Ajith alongside Trisha Krishnan. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, marking their debut in Tamil cinema, and presented by T-Series. The film features a large star cast including Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Jackie Shroff, Priya Prakash Varrier, and Raghu Ram.
The movie was initially known as AK63, but in March 2024, it was officially titled Good Bad Ugly. Filming began in May and took place in Hyderabad and Spain. The shoot was completed by December 2024. The film has music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, with Abinandhan Ramanujam as the cinematographer and Vijay Velukutty as the editor. It is scheduled for a grand release on April 10, 2025.
Ahead of its release, early reviews for Good Bad Ugly have started coming in. Umair Sandhu, a self-claimed member of the overseas censor board shared his thoughts after watching the censor screening. He described the film as “mind-blowing” and called it a “crazy action thriller.” He also praised the performances of the cast, especially Ajith Kumar, calling him a “one-man show.” Sandhu mentioned that the interval and climax sequences are especially powerful and applauded the screenplay, background score, and dialogues. He gave the film a 4-star rating and said fans will love Ajith’s new avatar.
The film’s technical crew includes producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar. The CEO of the project is Cherry, and Dinesh Narasimhan serves as the Chief Executive Producer. The film also has strong support in terms of production design by G.M. Sekhar and action sequences choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov. The styling for the movie is handled by Anu Vardhan and Rajesh Kamarsu.
The marketing is managed by First Show and D’One for the Tamil audience, while PR activities in Telugu are handled by Suresh Chandra and Vamsi Shekar. Visual effects are led by Narendra Logisa, and post-production is managed by Satyanarayana (Satya). The color grading work was done at Annapurna Studios by Ashwath S.
The direction team includes Ravi Kandasamy and Harish Manikandan as co-directors, along with associate and assistant directors helping bring the film to life. A skilled DOP team and editing assistants also supported the technical process behind the scenes.
