The reason was Mahesh fans felt they were cheated. As we know Thaman gave the music to Mahesh Babu’s film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ which couldn’t reach the expectations of the audiences at the box office. Of all the songs, only one caught the attention of music lovers – ‘Common common Kalaavathi ..’ Of all the hype that was given ahead of its release, only one single had become a hit.
Fans felt they were cheated because only one song went on to become a chartbuster. All of them were dull. Fans found fault with Thaman because of the injustice meted out to Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film.
On Saturday, fans took to Twitter handles and kept posting various memes trolling the music director Thaman for it. Within no time, the hashtag #RemoveThamanFromSSMB28 started trending. The hashtag is trending with as many as 64k tweets.
And on the other side, Thaman gave a counter to the Twitter trend saying, “Rest In Peace Dear Negativity!! To all the kids out there.” He released a short video menacingly firing the negativity.
SVP is one of the dull films in Mahesh Babu’s career. Fans have been asking Mahesh on Twitter not to work with director Parasuram or with music director Thaman again.
