Prime Video announced its Prime Day lineup on social media, highlighting the inclusion of “Garudan.” The platform shared, “Epic Entertainment Marathon incoming, the full #PrimeDay lineup is here.” “Garudan” will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting July 3, 2024. It will be in Tamil with English subtitles.

“Garudan” is an action-packed Tamil film based on a story by Vetrimaaran and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. Soori takes the lead role following his success in “Viduthalai: Part 1.” The film also stars M. Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Shivatha Nair, Revathy Sharma, Samuthirakani, and Rajendran.
The production of “Garudan” began in January and wrapped up within a month. The soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was produced by Vetrimaaran and K. Kumar through their joint venture, Grass Root Film Company and Lark Studios. It premiered in theaters on May 31, 2024, and was well-received for its execution and strong performances.
