Game Changer’s path to success faces Kollywood hurdles
Mega fans are celebrating the postponement of Ajith’s film in Kollywood. They believe it has surpassed the competition. However, the competition has not completely ended. Ajith’s departure caused way to more Tamil films. Now, these films are preparing to take advantage of the festive season.
The Pongal season is crucial for Kollywood as. Even average films can become blockbusters during this time. Theaters are often packed for at least two weeks with audiences in this season. Kollywood Producers are eager to use this golden opportunity.
Chennai sources report several films aiming to challenge “Game Changer.” Arun Vijay’s Vanangaan is one of the key releases. Jayam Ravi’s Kadhalikka Neramillai is also gaining attention. The film features AR Rahman’s music, which adds to the buzz. SatyaRaj son’s Sibiraj’s Ten Hours is creating moderate expectations. Fans are excited about Vijay Kanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian’s Padavi Thalaivan. Shane Nigam’s Madras Kaaran includes Niharika Konidela in the cast. Lyrical songs from the film have captured youth interest.
Two smaller films are also set for release. Tharunam and Sumo (delayed for five years) are among them. None of these films have high budgets or unique content. However, Tamil Nadu theaters are more supportive of local Tamil films.
Director Shankar is the only key player in Ram Charan’s Game Changer. SJ Surya adds some market value to the film. Despite this, many challenges exist for the film. Adjusting screens for Game Changer remains an issue.
If Game Changer becomes a unanimous blockbuster, these obstacles will disappear. Its success is crucial to overcoming competition.
