Game Changer’s ₹186 crore opening: Fact or fiction?
The much-anticipated movie Game Changer, released yesterday, has become the center of attention for its first-day box office collections. Despite receiving negitive reviews, fans and distributors remain optimistic about its long-term performance. According to an official announcement by the production company SVC, the film earned a staggering ₹186 crores worldwide on its opening day. This figure has sparked widespread discussion on social media platforms like X and Instagram.
Many are skeptical about the claim, pointing out that this collection surpasses the first-day earnings of Devara by over ₹10 crores. Some netizens argue that these numbers seem exaggerated, as first-day collections for big-budget films usually range between ₹100 and ₹150 crores. However, with no official system to verify these numbers, the reported ₹186 crores by SVC remains in circulation.
While Game Changer has not received unanimous praise, movie fans are questioning the fake posters being projected online. Though Pushpa 2, Deora, Kalki, and Guntur Karam producers also released these type of fake collection posters, they argue that Game Changer makers have released collections posters with a high level of fake number.
Mega fans are hopeful that the movie will pick up momentum in the coming days. If the makers plan a success meet, it will be interesting to see if they address the opening day figures and the ongoing controversies surrounding the film’s reception.
