Amidst a lot of expectations, Varun Tej starrer Gaddalakonda Ganesh has released across the world, yesterday. The film was earlier titled as Valmiki but it was changed in the last minute due to some controversies. Despite the title controversy, the film manages to earn well on its first day.
Impressive Day 2 For Gaddalakonda Ganesh
Gaddalakonda Ganesh collected a gross of Rs.8 crores and a share of Rs.5.67 crores from both the Telugu states. Including the overseas collections, the film earned a total gross of Rs. 10.1 crores and a share of Rs. 6.45 crores on its first day of the release. It is expected to do well over the weekend due to the positive word of mouth. The film has got the impressive start on the second day too!
On the whole, Varun managed to bag another hit at the box office. Directed by Harish Shankar, Gaddalakonda Ganesh featured Pooja Hegde, Atharvaa Murali and Mrinalini Ravi in the other lead roles.
