Two others who were with Abhishek also fell through the ice but managed to survive by getting out of the water quickly. The accident took place only 10-15 feet from the shore, highlighting the dangers of walking on frozen lakes during winter.
This is not an isolated incident. In December 2022, three people lost their lives at the same lake under similar conditions. Such incidents emphasize the importance of understanding and respecting the risks associated with frozen water bodies.
Abhishek’s untimely death has deeply saddened his family and friends. It also serves as a stark reminder for individuals to exercise caution during winter activities near ice-covered lakes.
